Austrian chancellor’s son tells how faith helped him survive Nazis
Kurt von Schuschnigg Jr., son of the former chancellor of Austria, says that his Catholic faith helped him get through difficult times during World War II and now guides the way that he looks back at past events, reports Catholic News Agency.

Kenyan bishops call for pro-life vote in coming elections

Half Say View of Obama Not Affected by Gay Marriage Decision (press)
A new Pew Research Center poll finds that roughly half of Americans (52%) say President Barack Obama's expression of support for gay marriage did not affect their opinion of the president, as The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life reports. A quarter (25%) say they feel less favorably toward Obama because of this, while 19% feel more favorably.

Spain would save over $72 million by axing abortion funding
The spokesman for the organization Right to Life in Spain, Gador Joya, said eliminating abortion funding from the federal budget would save Spain nearly $72 million, reports Catholic News Agency.

Chen expects passport 'within 15 days'
