Church Beliefs and Teachings

These are the core beliefs we hold true in our teachings:

• We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God - 2 Timothy 3:16,17
• We believe in one true God existing in three Divine persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost - John 14:16,17; Matthew 28:19
• We believe Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son, born of the virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit - Matthew 1:18-21; Luke 1:26-35
• We believe salvation of man is only of grace through faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ who took on flesh and blood, died for our sins, and was resurrected the third day - John 1:1-5,14; Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 3:24; John 20:1-17
• We believe in the laying on of hands, anointing with oil, and the proper use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit - Mark 16; James 5; 1 Corinthians 12-14

Communion
We serve the Lord's supper every Sunday.

Baptism
Baptism of all new believers is by immersion in water.
We respect other forms of baptism of persons transferring from other congregations.
