The Power Team event was an amazing success! Hundreds of people from Trinidad and the surrounding areas filled the church from Wednesday through Sunday for a performance of strength and a message of hope and salvation.
Over 300 individuals signed decision cards for Christ and we look forward to following up with them to encourage their walk.
Riley Israel, Shannon Waters, and JD Anderson aka "Big Country" took the stage to break baseball bats and handcuffs, bend bolts, steel bars, horseshoes, tear phone books and license plates, blow up hot water bottles, and so much more. Even more powerful were their testimonies and message of changed lives.

In addition to the nightly events, these men performed 8 assemblies at various local schools, and the Trinidad Correctional Facility. Many students and inmates heard a message of hope and self worth. The students were encouraged to see the event at the evening performances at the church where the full gospel message of Jesus Christ could be heard.
While the show wasn't without a glitch or two (one night a brick-break caused a domino effect and toppled several other stacks of bricks before they were broken), the shows were a roaring success. The church was packed and only a few overflow seating spots were vacant during our Saturday event. Though Sunday's snow storm kept a few fans away, the church was still near capacity and saw many people come forward.
Sound levels in the church were near ear splitting as the crowds cheered and got behind the men on stage during their feats of strength. At other times the silence was also deafening as each of the men gave their heartfelt testimony of redemption at God's hands of love.
A very special thank you goes out to all the staff here at the church who made this event possible. Food preparers, ushers, product table workers, security, clean-up, and all those behind the scenes who were never mentioned... we appreciate your efforts and know that you have served God through your hard work.
